Wallet and worker naming

Clean wallet and worker formatting makes the dashboard more useful and reduces avoidable support issues.

Format

Use wallet first, worker second

On Versapool, the wallet address is the primary login value. If the pool supports worker-level identification, add the worker name after a dot. This produces a format like YOUR_WALLET.rig01.

Keeping the wallet first ensures that payouts are still attributed correctly while allowing the dashboard to separate the activity of different machines.

Good practice

Use consistent worker names

Use simple, predictable names such as rig01, rig02, office-gpu, or testbench. Consistent naming makes troubleshooting easier when one worker behaves differently from the rest.

Avoid

Common formatting mistakes

Do not replace the wallet with the worker name. Do not use spaces. Do not assume that every pool uses the same separator or login style. When in doubt, use the exact format shown on the active pool page or guide.
